I Talk Back to the Devil by A.W. Tozer is a book about the fighting fervour of the victorious Christian. It is with this truth that we enter into this study of Tozer's sermons. In I Talk Back to the Devil, Tozer says, "The highest that can be said of any creature is that it fulfilled the purpose for which God made it." So what is holding you back from being all God wants you to be? Are you still holding on to past sins? Do memories of your spiritual failures haunt you? But as we "press forward into maturity in Christ," we are armed with great strength to engage in battle with that great adversary, the devil! We can stand up to the devil and shout "I am a child of God! I will not take this any longer, and I remind you that the forgiveness and cleansing I have freely received comes from Jesus Christ!"
