Alive: Gospel Sexuality for Students gives teenagers and young adults a biblical, gospel-centeredframework to apply to issues of sexuality. In a changing culture where feelings about ouridentity inform our sexual choices, this ten-week small group resource applies biblical truth ina compassionate way to sexual struggles. Pinson and Wilson, with years of experience workingwith students, aim to bring the complex, theological truths of our union and communion withChrist into the world of sexuality. Students are met where they are and encouraged to talk aboutthe issues that are part of their everyday world. At the same time, they will be guided to learnrobust, deep, and strengthening theological content that will help them follow Jesus in how theyexpress their sexuality. Out of this framework, topics addressed include gender, gender disorders,transgender, premarital sex, masturbation, pornography, and same-sex attraction. Studentsare encouraged through case studies to understand their sexuality in the light of God’s Word andto approach these issues with biblical truth and compassion.
