The Big Picture Cards for Families: Volume 5: A Nation Divided: Kids encourage families to continue learning at home throughout the week. Distribute these cards at the beginning of each quarter or after every session and families will be equipped to help kids understand how the Bible events they are learning fit into the big picture of God's story.

God sent prophets like Elijah and Elisha to reveal His power, love, and faithfulness. God reminded His people of His plan to send a Rescuer to take away their sin.

Ultimately, God judged Israel’s sin and punished them by removing His presence. Through Jeremiah, God told about a new covenant in which sin can be forgiven once and for all. At just the right time, God punished our sin through His Son, Jesus, and made Him our King forever.
