90 Minutes In Heaven DVD

Description

Hayden Christensen stars in this drama based on the novel by Don Piper and the real events that inspired him. When Baptist minister Don Piper (Christensen)'s car was hit by a truck, he became trapped in his car unable to get free. As the paramedics pronounce him dead at the scene a fellow clergyman prays over his body for him and his soul to be free.

After an hour and a half the pastor notices that the supposedly dead man is alive and the emergency services fight to get him out. When he is taken to the hospital Don reveals that he died in the accident and for 90 minutes he was in Heaven. After experiencing the utopia of Heaven Don struggles with God's reasons for bringing him back to a world full of suffering and pain and it is left to his family and congregation to renew his faith in God and in himself.
