One of the most beloved and popular vocal quartets around the world, Ernie Haase & Signature Sound, reveal their latest release, Live in Memphis. Recorded at the famed Memphis Quartet Show in the birthplace of Blues and Gospel music, EHSS gets back to their traditional roots, reimagining and rearranging quartet classics from 1929 through the early 1970s. During these decades it wasn't uncommon for Gospel music, Spirituals, Broadway show tunes and American Songbook favourites to co-exist on recordings and in live concert performances. This is the experience created and produced here for the listener. The recording is an experience with four-part harmony, "tried-and-true" compositions, lighthearted moments and emotional performances, including specials guests the Blackwood Brothers and Duane Allen of the Oak Ridge Boys.
